Jonathan has extensive experience representing and advising clients in commercial litigation in state and federal courts, both nationally and in New York. His clients range from individuals and smaller companies to major financial institutions, hedge funds, and private equity firms. Jonathan’s practice principally involves creditors’ rights law, with a focus on representing judgment creditors in enforcement proceedings, including turnover, receivership, attachment, and contempt proceedings, avoidance of fraudulent conveyances and alter egos, and negotiation of workout, forbearance, and judgment satisfaction agreements.
Prior to co-founding Borg & Bryks LLP, Jonathan was the founding partner of Borg Law LLP, a boutique creditors’ rights litigation firm and, before that, he worked in New York in the Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy Groups at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP and Day Pitney LLP, at a boutique litigation and real estate firm, and at a small general practice firm. Jonathan’s experience at different size firms allows him to deliver the high quality professional services of a larger firm while providing the personalized attention of a small firm.
Jonathan currently resides with his family in Edgemont, New York, where he was a board member of the Greenburgh Nature Center for many years, was a coach with Elmsford Little League, and is now actively involved in civic issues. Jonathan is an avid golfer, skier, hockey player, softball player, and wine collector.

Bryan grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Queens. Growing up, he worked in numerous blue-collar positions, appreciating the value of working hard. Prior to attending law school, he spent 6 years as a real estate paralegal, during which time he learned a lot about human nature and further developed his interpersonal skills. During law school, he held several internships in the Bankruptcy and Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic, Senior Citizens Law Program, Public Advocacy Center, District Attorney’s Office, Suffolk County District Court, and Suffolk County Supreme Court, which allowed him to work directly promoting social justice while serving countless individuals in and beyond the local community.
Each of these experiences helped him become a practice-ready professional shaping his unique perspective and devoted work ethic, which is present in each and every case he handles through compassion and integrity.
Bryan has extensive experience in judgment enforcement, commercial litigation, and has handled cases in federal and state courts for large publicly traded corporations, small closely-held businesses, and individuals.
Bryan prides himself on maintaining the highest level of legal and ethical standards and treats his clients and adversaries with the utmost courtesy and respect. He seeks to provide realistic and honest legal advice geared towards achieving a favorable result as quickly as possible, and at a reasonable cost, recognizing that justice delayed is justice denied.
Education
Bryan received his Bachelor of Arts at Queens College where he studied law, politics, and the environment. He was a Business and Liberal Arts honor student, receiving special recognition training from active professionals only teaching small classes while growing in their respective professions.
He received his Juris Doctorate from the Touro Law Center, where he was the recipient of the prestigious David A. Berg Public Interest Fellowship (awarded to individuals who exhibit a strong desire for helping others and a commitment to those less fortunate), the Elizabeth Gonzalez Book Award (presented to a student who best exemplifies the ideals of caring, dedication, and self-sacrifice established by the award’s namesake, an exemplary third-year law student at Touro who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in December 1992), and the award for Exceptional Contributions to the Leadership of Jewish Law Students Association. While in law school, he also served as the President of the Real Estate Law Society and was the Lawyers Assistance Program campus representative and continues to be actively involved in helping those in need of the services they provide.
